Barrier Freedom Inc. offers the option of recycled or on consignment lifts instead of new to customers looking for a stair lift, porch lift or elevator for their home or business. This can represent a significant cost saving to the customer and is the one for the ways that we strive to offer a variety of solution in order to better fit customer needs.

Lift Owners

If you no longer need your stair lift, porch lift or elevator, Barrier Freedom Inc. can offer you the following options:

1. Removal – we will come to your home and remove your equipment. The removal fee will be determined on a case by case basis.
2. Recycling – we will come to your home and remove your unwanted equipment, if we think it could be recycled then we will purchase it from you. There may be a removal fee which will be determined on a case by case basis.
3. Consignment – we will come to your home and remove your equipment. The removal fee will be determined on case by case basis. We will then store it for you and list it on our website for sale by consignment for one year. The cost of storing an elevator to be individually determined. The fee also includes the web listing.

About the recycled stair lifts available for sale: Each lift is checked out by our accessibility specialist and comes with a 90 day labour warranty. Recycling your equipment means that someone else is helped by providing a cost saving back to the disability community.
